Jamie & Michael - New Haven, CT Wedding [Part 1]

On a wedding that starting off a triple threat weekend (3 weddings in 3 days) for me, Jamie and Michael were married at Anthony's Ocean View in New Haven, CT. One thing I will always remember is having a conversation with the bride, Jamie, about doing a first look and all bridal/wedding party shots before the ceremony because they did not want to have photos in the dark.

Everything couldn't have worked out more perfect. There was a lot of talk about rain all day long, but luckily enough it held out and just gave us some great fog over the boats in the water for incredible imagery. Of course after the ceremony, the rain began. I love it when things work out like that, how could you ask for more? Ok, a really fun bride/groom and wedding party also helps, as you'll see from the wedding photos.

I met Jamie and their beautiful daughter Nylah at my studio to talk about the wedding details as Michael was off working at his job for HGTV as a contractor for shows such as "Dear Genevieve." It was such an great and fun day photographing their wedding day, I am very excited for Jamie & Michael, and of course Nylah, they truly are incredible people to now have as friends.
