So I did a thing today. I took the leap in re-launching my Youtube Channel. This is something very new to me, even though I once posted videos pretty frequently in the past. However, after a few years of not making videos, I'm finding myself re-learning everything all over again, and it's actually pretty exciting. I'm even being reminded how awkward and uncomfortable I am at being in front of the camera.

I need to give a huge thanks and shout out though to my good friend, Russ Lyman for the inspiration to get off my butt and just do it. You see, I travel with Russ to video game conventions and as a YouTuber himself, he has spoken on various panels. Back in 2019, Russ and I made the trip to South East Game Exchange in Greenville, South Carolina. While we were there, Russ spoke at a panel specifically about YouTube and content creation and said something that really hit me good.

Russ mentioned when someone is wanting to create a YouTube channel, people will always put it off because of a number of excuses. "I sound funny, I don't have a good enough camera, etc." Russ then said to "just do it." So, that's what I'm doing.

2020 was such a challenge for so many creatives, including myself. That is why I need to do something new and exciting for myself. So in thinking back at what Russ talked about in his panel I decided, "hey, let's do this. Let's re-launch my YouTube channel!"

So with the guidance of Russ, as well as being inspired by so many other YouTube channels - especially in the photography communities, I started my research and came up with a plan of what I would want to talk about and wanting to accomplish when making videos. I really want to make videos that I'm proud of and hopefully one or two other people can enjoy.  I started this new journey to be creative, something for me. Whether I'm in over my head or not, I just want to create something new I'm proud of. In time, I hope to learn as much as I can with the fimmaking process so I can be creative in a totally new way.

Below is my YouTube Re-Launch Trailer, I hope you like it. I know it's short, but it's simply to introduce my channel. I already have more videos in production as well as a list of ideas for future videos. I'm excited for this new challenge, I just need to make sure I keep up with it.

If you wouldn't mind, give me a SUBSCRIBE. It's completely free to follow me on YouTube, and you can be notified when I release new videos. Hopefully as I get going, I can figure out a schedule to when I release new videos, but I'm not quite there yet. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the process and forever learning.

Thank you so much for the support in advance!! Enjoy!!
