Just working on some images and emails this morning, and just happen to sign onto Facebook for a few minutes when I got this nice surprise of an IM from one of my 2010 brides just popped up:

“I just wanted to tell you that your an awesome photographer and I’m so excited to be working with you on my wedding day! I always look at the pictures you post and think how lucky I am to have such a talent to work with! I just check out pics you post and I’m like…man, he’s good….and then I thought about my wedding day and even our engagement session and it made me really happy.”

I seriously love my couples and what I do. I could not ask for anything better. This just made my entire day.

In the works is a new blog to check out, and in the meantime, there will even be a new temporary blog for you to look forward to. There are some new things on the horizon, such as the blog, new work, and new ideas.

I am very excited about it all, but in the meantime, check out a few new images from recent time. Can’t wait to share the newest work with you all.

After completeing my first full year of Wedding Photography in 2010, here is what some people are saying:

David Ruzicka of Fairytale Studio says:
“David is a visionary. His work is very professional and fresh. He always tries something new, you can count on getting something unique every time he shoots. David is a good friend of mine and colleague and I know he puts a lot of energy and passion to his work. I cannot wait to work with David again.”

Devin (Bride) says:
“David Apuzzo photography is the best! David is both talented and artistic. My wedding pictures are amazing! I could not have asked for more beautiful pictures. David and his staff are so professional and relaxed as they did not overwhelm us with wedding shots. My husband and I really enjoyed working with them. Indeed, they were both extremely nice and accommodating. Truly, David is a wonderful photographer as we are still in awe of his work. I would highly recommend him for your wedding day! You will not be disappointed!”

Lauren (Bride) says:
“I first saw David’s work while viewing pictures from a friend’s sisters wedding. I was not yet engaged, but was so impressed by his work that I knew I had to have him as a photographer when my time came. Soon after my now husband popped the question, and David was one of the first vendors we booked! We could not have been any happier with the way our engagement and wedding photos came out. David knows how to capture the true beauty in a photo, and adds the perfect artistic touch to make your wedding photos look like no other. The compliments are endless, and many of our friends have booked him as their own wedding photographer from viewing our photos. He made sure everything flowed smoothly on the big day, and captured all of the perfect moments. It’s a blessing to have such a talented photographer help you relive your special day with such beauty. The photos bring tears to my eyes every time. He is also very timely, and will take care of any concerns you have, as well as suggesting ways to make your day that much better. You will not be disappointed!”

Ashley Stone of Beauty Entourage says:
“I first met David through a wedding I did hair and make up for. You can tell the passion he has for his craft and no detail goes unnoticed. He is able to capture moments on film in such a unique way that definitely sets him apart from others. The creativity is unsurpassed and truly inspiring. I highly recommend his company and hope to continue collaborating on future projects. “

I had the pleasure of creating a nice fairytale story theme for Kaalyn and Kyle’s engagement session. We shot up at the Society Room where the wedding will also be held. I love that Kaalyn and Kyle put there trust in me to go a little outside the box with their engagement session. I love to create stories, and I will have to say, you can expect a lot more of this in 2010, can’t wait!

Meet Bob.

Meet Bob.

Bob came into the studio because he saw the outside and thought it was an interesting place to check out. Bob and I swapped stories about photography (he used to be a photographer), music, and life.

I love being able to meet new people and hear all their stories of how they get to be where they’re at in their life.

It really is the best reason for me to have a storefront studio. You just can’t plan these things.

I asked if I could do a portrait for Bob, he agreed, and I couldn’t be more honored and inspired. He’s an amazing individual.
He even brought in his guitar from the car and sang some songs for me while I took his portrait.

Thank you Bob!
