Hello to you all,
I wanted to post this blog post when the time was right, and with Valentines Day around the corner, I felt it was just a bit fitting.
First off, I want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support, I truly appreciate it. One thing that a lot of you may not know is that when I was an infant, I had open heart surgery. Now 31 years later, I feel as good as I have ever felt before. I am one that can truly say I am lucky for all that has been given to me and that crosses my path.
This life is not to be taken for granted, no matter how large or small any obstacles we come across in our lives, only we have the power to appreciate everything given to us and push through anything.
This February, I want to give back to the American Heart Association. They have been very kind to me, and the doctors that I have had in the past, and still have to this day, are the number one reason I am still here today. Sure, I need to take care of myself, but when it all comes down to it, they are the ones I really need to thank for this true gift I have been given.
With all of this said, I will be making a donation to the American Heart Association this month, and I am also going to ask for you to lend a hand as well. That’s why all proceeds from now until the end of February are going to be donated to the cause.
All you need to do is head over to the online shop, place your order, and you will be giving back to the people that really make lives happen.
If you can not afford to purchase something from the online shop, don’t be discouraged. Instead, simply click the social media icons at the top or bottom of this page and share this with a friend. Let’s get the word out about this and raise as much as we can. I will post a follow up blog at the beginning of March with our final totals of what was raised.
